- 10 shifts per month with clinic hours 8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-12pm Fri
- Average 2 patients seen and 2 admissions per 24-hour call
- 8 beds in department with predominantly newborn care
- Call schedule rotates with local provider
- Level I nursery care with c-section and delivery attendance required
- Call response time 30 minutes
- Coverage includes clinic only, clinic plus call, and call-only weekends
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
