We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Glendale, CA. This full-time assignment will provide coverage for maternity leave, offering a great chance to work in a dynamic, supportive outpatient setting.
Key Highlights:
- Location: Near Glendale, CA
- Assignment Dates: January 1, 2025 April 1, 2025
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Practice Setting: Outpatient only no inpatient work or hospital privileges required.
- Patients Per Shift: Approximately 23 per day.
Clinical Requirements:
- Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Certifications: Active California medical license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills Required:
- Low- and high-risk pregnancies
- Routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections
- Procedures like FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and endometrial biopsies
- Minor gynecological procedures: IUD placements, colposcopy, and cryosurgery
- Laparoscopic and open surgical gynecology
Additional Information:
- Support Team: Includes RNs, MAs, PAs, and office staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): EPIC system in use.
- No on-call responsibilities.
