CVT

Work in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab supporting adult interventional, heart failure and pulmonary care. Cardiovascular Technologist role: circulate, scrub, record diagnostic and interventional procedures; operate cath lab equipment/software. Schedule: full-time shift-based in-hospital role. Location: on-site at cardiac catheterization lab. Contract: permanent staff position. - AS degree in Cardiovascular Technology or Radiologic Technology - RCIS credential (CCI) if CVT degree OR ARRT CI/VI/R registration (CI preferred) - Experience with adult interventional cardiac procedures - Ability to operate cath lab equipment and relevant software

Overview:

Provides appropriate patient care in Cardiac Cath Lab. Circulates, scrubs, and records diagnostic and interventional procedures for adult interventional, heart failure, and pulmonary services. Operates appropriate medical equipment and software and interacts professionally with customers and staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program.

or

AS Degree from accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program, must be credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).

If incumbent/candidate has an AS Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program, must possess the Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Radiography (R) Registration Category issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The CI registration is the preferred registration.
