The Cardiologist - General is responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients of all ages. This includes diagnosing and treating heart disease, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular conditions. The Cardiologist - General will also work with patients to develop and implement a plan for managing their cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities of the Cardiologist - General include:
- Performing physical examinations and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients with cardiovascular disease
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular disease
- Consulting with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educating patients about cardiovascular disease and its prevention

Qualifications for the Cardiologist - General include:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of a residency in Internal medicine or Family practice
- Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology
- Board certification in cardiology
- Excellent clinical skills and judgment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
