Job Description
Join our team as an IMCU Charge/Manager RN, providing critical care support to patients in a 64-bed unit with specialized neuro and cardiac care. You will be responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced medical technologies such as Temp pacers, Chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage nursing staff within the IMCU.
- Provide direct patient care and support for a range of acute conditions including COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
- Coordinate with respiratory therapists for chronic ventilation management.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using EPIC EMR.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU with documented travel experience.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Active NY State RN license and verification through NURSYS.
- Two recent IMCU Charge/Manager RN references.
- Completion of skills checklist matching specialty requirements.
- Driver's license with an address that matches provided demographics.
