Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Overtime pay after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
• Subject to low census and on-call requirements with 2-hour minimum call-back pay
• Must maintain 50-mile radius requirement from facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years experience with 1 travel assignment preferred
• Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Care for 8-bed Neuro unit population including stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
• Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation assistance
• Experience with EVDs, ICP monitoring, and neuro interventional procedures preferred
• Assist with bolt and drain bedside placements with Neurosurgery
• Must work independently and complete tasks in timely manner
• Any color scrubs permitted
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers required to wear masks at all times per facility policy
