The Hematology/Oncology Physician role involves providing specialized care in an oncology clinic attached to a chemotherapy treatment center and hospital in California on a locum tenens basis. The position requires managing 12-15 patient encounters per shift across full-time weekday shifts with periodic on-call responsibilities. Candidates must be board eligible or certified, have fellowship training, BLS certification, and an active California medical license.

Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: Full time, 5 shifts per week, 4 weeks per month, 8 hours per day. Call 1 week out of every 3 (regular hours during the day with evening call on weekdays, 24-hour call on weekends - phone only, no onsite call back). Patient appointments scheduled 9-12 and 1-4:30pm.
- Job Setting: Oncology clinic attached to chemo treatment center and hospital.
- Types of Cases: 12-15 patient encounters per shift
- Credentialing: 90 days.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Minimum Board Eligible required; Board Certified preferred
- Certifications: BLS, Fellowship required
- Licensure: Active CA license required
