Job Details:
• Work in Clinical Decision Unit (2 East) providing telemetry and observation care
• 26-week contract assignment (not flexible)
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required, 2 years preferred
• PCU experience required
• Must have strong vasoactive drip experience
• Float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at submission), NIHSS (obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine-free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking available
• EKG and pharmacy tests required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
• All RTO must be submitted upfront and will not be approved if added later
• First-time travelers accepted
• No pending certifications accepted
• Facility has strict DO NOT call policy
