Certified Surgical Technologist - Ortho Experience Required

Job DescriptionThe role of the Certified Surgical Technologist is critical in supporting the surgical team, providing high-quality care through efficient and precise techniques. Candidates will be expected to maintain a sterile environment, ensure that surgical equipment is in excellent working condition, and assist surgeons during procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment.
- Assist with patient care and preparation of the surgical patient.
- Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel.
- React efficiently to various situations during surgical procedures.
- Precept new staff as needed.
- Must be a Certified Surgical Technologist.
- At least one year of travel experience preferred.
- Ortho experience required.
- Experience with scrubbing and the Da Vinci system.
- Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program or current New York State LPN license eligible.
- BLS certification required.
- Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection protocols applicable to the operating room.
- Completion of an approved pharmacology course or relevant medication experience.
