Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and safety during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in a Medical Surgical setting
- Assess and monitor patient health and progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid nursing license to practice in Virginia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Healthcare Provider level certification (HWC)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Preferred: 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
