The Hospitalist Physician provides inpatient medical care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates must hold a valid medical license, possess strong clinical skills, and have experience with electronic health record systems, preferably Epic. Night shifts, critical care experience, and certifications such as ACLS and BLS are preferred for this role.

Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in the state of practice, with the ability to obtain or hold current certification.
- Proven experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently, especially during night shifts without APP support.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.
- Willingness to work at night and flexible schedule availability.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with critical care or ICU coverage.
- MS license or eligibility for licensure.
- Locums to Perm interest.
- Prior training or experience with Epic systems.
- Experience in team collaboration via Teams or other communication platforms.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- At least 2 years of hospitalist experience.
- Prior night shift coverage and critical care experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work one week per month as a nocturnist and additional PRN shifts.
- Completion of Epic training two weeks before the first scheduled shift.
- Upload personal data sheet into Locumsmart for credentialing.
- Must hold or obtain valid MS medical license.
- Ability to drive to the facility as needed.
- Willingness to participate in orientation sessions prior to initial shifts.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and other relevant areas.
