Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in the state of practice, with the ability to obtain or hold current certification.
• Proven experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently, especially during night shifts without APP support.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Willingness to work at night and flexible schedule availability.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience with critical care or ICU coverage.
• MS license or eligibility for licensure.
• Locums to Perm interest.
• Prior training or experience with Epic systems.
• Experience in team collaboration via Teams or other communication platforms.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• At least 2 years of hospitalist experience.
• Prior night shift coverage and critical care experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work one week per month as a nocturnist and additional PRN shifts.
• Completion of Epic training two weeks before the first scheduled shift.
• Upload personal data sheet into Locumsmart for credentialing.
• Must hold or obtain valid MS medical license.
• Ability to drive to the facility as needed.
• Willingness to participate in orientation sessions prior to initial shifts.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and other relevant areas.
