The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and parts replacement on hydraulic, electrical systems, and engines of garbage trucks. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in diesel or heavy truck maintenance, with ASE certification and CDL considered advantageous. The position offers competitive wages, a tool allowance, benefits, and a 401k match, based in Leesville, LA with a work schedule including some Saturdays.
We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Leesville, LA.
Monday – Friday, rotating Saturday’s. Start time is at 2:00 p.m., working 10.5 hours a day, 50-52 hours a week.
Pay Range: $27/hr. - 30/hr., depending on experience.
Tool allowance of $200 per month towards your tool kit.
On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation.
Job Summary
Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks.
The ideal candidate will possess:
3+ years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance.
ASE Certified is a plus.
Class A or B CDL is a plus.
The salary range for this position is $27/hr. – 30/hr. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
