Job Opportunity: Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Join our vibrant team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) in the Greater Phoenix area! Work alongside a dedicated group of 24 Neonatologists and 38 NNPs, providing exceptional care in high-quality Neonatology facilities. Job Responsibilities:
- Caring for infants in NICUs at three Level III-IV NICUs, soon expanding to six Level II Special Care Nurseries.
- Collaborating with Neonatologists to manage care for high-risk deliveries and NICU infants.
- Working the evening shift alongside a Neonatologist in the Level III-IV NICUs.
- Providing 24/7 coverage for Level II units with in-house NNPs and daily rounds by Neonatologists.
- Participating in a shared responsibility for attendance at deliveries with Neonatologists.
- Utilizing flexible scheduling with a combination of 12- and 24-hour shifts to meet personal and team needs.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (required).
- Board Certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP), other NP certifications (FNP, PNP) are not accepted.
- Arizona license (or willingness to obtain).
- 2+ years of NNP experience (preferred).
- DEA certification required prior to start.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified NNP (required).
- Arizona state license (or willing to obtain, required).
- DEA (required prior to start).
