Shop Technician

Work hands-on with diverse rental machinery at a leading equipment rental company. Shop Technician – Salt Lake City, UT. Day shift 7AM–5PM, hourly $22.00. Full-time maintenance role supporting service and repair of rental equipment; ongoing position with benefits after waiting period. - High school diploma or equivalent - Basic mechanical skills; experience with hand tools and diagnostics - Must own basic hand tools (wrench set, wiring) and steel-toed boots - Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills

Our client, industry-leading equipment rental and service provider, is seeking a Shop Technician to join their team. As a Shop Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the service and repair of rental equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shop Technician

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range: $22.00 an hour

Shift: 7AM-5PM

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems and troubleshooting equipment
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and company policies

What's Needed?

• Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Ability to work with hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have Steel Toed Boots
• Must have basic hand tools ( wrench set and wiring)
