PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
• Patient Demographics: Adults and Geriatrics; occasional Pediatrics
• Average Daily Volume / Census: Approximately 900 ER visits per month
• Admissions & Rounding: Included as part of Emergency Department workflow
• Consults & Follow-Ups: Specialty consults available; follow-ups not required
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine, acute care presentations, trauma stabilization, and rapid triage

• Beds in Department/Unit: Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department
• EMR System: Modern EMR platform with streamlined workflows
• Specialty Backup: Access to on-call specialists, imaging, diagnostics, and transfer support

• Evaluate and manage a wide range of emergency presentations with support from nursing, EMS, and specialty teams
• Utilize well-equipped ER resources including diagnostics, imaging, and rapid transfer protocols
• Participate in collaborative care with hospitalists, EMS, and ancillary departments
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and departmental workflow optimization
