Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking the best Primary Care Physicians (MD/DO) to join our expanding Outpatient Practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA beginning as early as October 2024. This is a long-term opportunity to join an exceptionally supported hospital-owned practice with all of the amenities afforded as a locum tenens Physician.
Opportunity Specifics:
- Contract Type(s): Locum Tenens
- Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
- Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday (8:00a - 4:30p)
- Duration: Long-Term Locums
- Population: Primarily Adult Patients
- Census: Avg. 12-25 Patients/Shift

Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical histories
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood work
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments for various medical conditions
- Provide patient education and counsel on preventive health measures and treatment options
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of all patient encounters
Provider Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania State License & DEA
- Active ABFM or ABIM Board Certification
- Ability to Treat Patients of All Ages
- Certifications: BLS
