Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a float pool position requiring a KS or compact license and AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an ICU Float Pool covering Level 1 Trauma, Chest Pain Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center units
- Floating required between ICU, Med Surg floors, and a secondary campus
- Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30
- 13-week contract assignment
- Role includes caring for critical patients across various specialty ICU areas and general Med Surg floors
- Must be able to float as assigned to different units and possibly to a secondary campus
- No COVID vaccination required for employment
- Dress code and scrub requirements will be provided during orientation
- Local candidates considered at a reduced pay rate per radius rule
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license
- Current certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required and must be current
- Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course prior to start, with on-site training completed at orientation
- Nursys license verification and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- US Social Security Number and US home address required
