Unit Specifics:

·Number of Beds:46

·Patient Ratios:6:1

·Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability):Clinical Nurse Coordinators (charge nurse), RNs, LPNs, PCTs, Nurse Externs, Unit Clerks -staffing based on patient census)

·Type of equipment:GE Apex Pro Telemetry box, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Baxter IV pumps, iMobile, Alaris PCA IV pump, Welch Allen Vitals machine, Glucometer

·Documentation system:Meditech Expanse

·Scheduling requirements:Every other weekend, three 12-hour shifts per week

·Floating policy:May float to 3 South (post-surgical med/surg), or to PCU (to staff tele overflow)

·Patient Experience requirements: At least two years med/surg experience
