Diagnostic Radiologist locum, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, day shift, on-site at an outpatient imaging center in Northern California. Ongoing weekly coverage (multiple weeks listed). No call. Locum/temporary assignment. - Valid MD with state medical license or ability to obtain one
- Fellowship or board-eligible/certified in Diagnostic Radiology (board status negotiable)
- Experience interpreting CT, MRI, X-ray, US and performing fluoroscopy (arthrograms, HSG); mammography experience if covering breast services
- Current BLS/ACLS as required by facility
- Ability to credential rapidly (Axuall helpful)

The radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging interpretation Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. Responsibilities include reading diagnostic studies including CT, MRI, plain films, and ultrasound examinations, as well as performing fluoroscopic procedures such as arthrograms and HSG studies. The position offers flexibility to focus on 100% diagnostic radiology, 100% mammography including screening and diagnostic studies with breast ultrasounds, or a combination of both specialties based on clinician preference and facility needs.
Additional Job Details Case Load/PPD: Diagnostic: 70 studies plus procedures | Mammography: 25 screening, 10 diagnostic, 5-10 breast ultrasounds Support Staff: Radiologic technologists, mammography technologists, and administrative support staff Patient Population: Adults Location Type: On-Site Government: No Procedures: Fluoroscopy, arthrograms, HSG, breast biopsies Equipment/PACS System: GE PACS, Hologic Modalities: Diagnostic & Mammography Type of Dictation Used: Powerscribe
