A locum tenens urologist position is available near Adamsburg, Pennsylvania, offering both inpatient and outpatient care in a collaborative healthcare environment. We are currently seeking a qualified Urologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This position is located near Adamsburg, PA, and offers the chance to work in a well-supported healthcare setting. Opportunity Details: Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Urology Location: Near Adamsburg, PA Start Date: April 1, 2025 (or as soon as possible) End Date: Ongoing assignment, with the possibility of extension Schedule: Full-time or part-time options available Shift Type: Clinical hours plus shared call coverage Patients per Shift: 15-20 (mostly outpatient care) Rounding: Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required Practice Setting: Combination of outpatient and inpatient care Patient Volume: Approximately 15% inpatient, 85% outpatient Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive urology care to patients of all ages Perform consultations, procedures, and surgeries as necessary Manage patient cases in both outpatient clinics and inpatient settings Collaborate with a team of physicians, physician assistants, and nursing staff Perform specialized procedures such as endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and more Offer expertise in advanced urology procedures including robotic surgery and radical cystectomies Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one Fellowship training in Urology is preferred but not required Experience with general adult urology procedures, including laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeries, is required Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong communication skills and patient-focused care Additional Details: Travel & Lodging: Travel and accommodation arrangements provided Call Coverage: Shared call with the existing medical team Support Staff: The facility is supported by 2 physicians, 2 physician assistants, 1 nurse practitioner, 1 RN, and additional clinical and office staff EMR System: Epic Why Consider This Opportunity?
