Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on night shift requiring an OH or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes general surgery, trauma, vascular, wound, and plastics cases
• Assigned to the East Tower
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM totaling 36 hours per week
• Estimated nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR system is used and experience is required
• Role provides care across general surgery, trauma, vascular, wound, and plastics subspecialties
• No on-call and no mandatory holiday coverage specified
• Scrub and dress code details not specified

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and intermediate nursing skills
• Epic charting experience required
