Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner will:

• Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage (7P 7A).
• Perform assessments, order/interprete diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
• Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
• Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document all care using Epic EMR.
• Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes.
• Maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards.
• Participate in UCHealth OAP mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education.
• Not accepting fresh graduates (must have two (2) years of trauma surgery experience or the completion of a surgical fellowship is highly preferred.
