Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shifts, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and an active RI or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU at a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, totaling 36 hours per week
• Schedule requires three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend shifts required
• 13-week assignment duration
• ICU RNs provide care to critically ill patients in a team-oriented environment
• Orientation is provided at the start of the assignment
• All candidates, including local, are eligible as the pay rate does not vary by distance
• Every other weekend shifts are mandatory

Requirements

• Active RN license in RI or compact state, verified through Nursys
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA or Red Cross
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU RN experience
• Workplace violence prevention certification (DCI/BVP) to be completed if not held
