Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position requiring current RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Burn ICU unit within a Level 1 trauma center
• Care for patients with severe burn injuries requiring intensive care
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Position is within a Level 1 trauma center environment
• All positions are auto offer
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule, with the number of miles varying by state
• Travelers should discuss potential contract extensions with management at least 45 days before assignment end
• Holiday and weekend requirements not specified

Requirements

• Active RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience required
• Completion of NIH Stroke Scale certification is preferred
• Ability to provide copies of professional license, certifications, two professional references, and driver’s license
• All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and valid US address
