Beds: 39 - MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU - mixed unit- All one ICU divided into pods- would not float into CVICU side unless experienced in that unit/specialty
Minimum Experience:
• 2 years of ICU experience EXCLUDING travel experience is most preferred
- Minimum one prior travel assignment.
Required Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• TNCC (REQUIRED) - please decline travelers that would not be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrival
Epic experience
• Comfortability working a 48hr/week contract
Patient Types: • Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma • Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma - heavy trauma population • Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR - 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers • Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this - given to permanent staff • Patient Ratios: • RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) - acuity dependent
