Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide emergency medical care in a Trauma Center
• Manage a diverse patient population in a high-volume ED
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subspecialty services
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
• Oversee and work alongside APPs and scribes
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with 48 hours of physician coverage
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety
• Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines
• Participate in trauma care and critical patient management
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Additional Information:
• Active Texas medical license required
• Comfortable with high patient volumes and acuity levels
