The physician will provide radiation therapy using state-of-the-art technologies such as Linear Accelerator, IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT, managing approximately 20 patient encounters per shift. The role requires maintaining an active Texas medical license, with fellowship and specialized radiation oncology experience preferred.

The department features 2 beds and supports approximately 20 patient encounters per shift in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
• Provide radiation oncology services with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Utilize Linear Accelerator technology including Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons
• Perform Conventional/Conformal Therapy techniques
• Conduct Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy (IMRT) treatments
• Utilize Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) methodologies
• Perform Stereotactic Body radiation therapy (SBRT)
• Implement conventional treatment planning protocols
• Utilize beam shaping (MLC) techniques
• Conduct 3D CRT treatments
• Must maintain active Texas medical license
• Board certification required with BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Fellowship trained preferred
• Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) experience preferred
• PET CT or MRI Image Fusion experience preferred
• Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI) experience preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
