Performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of prescription medications. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Philosophy.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training and Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy. Or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
• Experience with telephone call prioritization.
• Experience with stressful/urgent need situations.
• 3 months of Practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of pharmacist.
• Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques. (Not required for this department)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Community Pharmacy Experience
