We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky. Key Details: Location: Near Wellington, KY Specialty: Obstetrics and Gynecology Start Date: February 27, 2025 End Date: March 1, 2025 Coverage Type: On-Call, Call only Department: OB/GYN Call Response Time: 30 minutes Average Number of Deliveries per Year: 250 Practice Setting: Outpatient and on-call support Level of Trauma: 3 Pediatrics Level: 0 Patient Load: 5 patients per shift Shifts: On-call shifts from 7:00 AM on February 27 to 7:00 AM on March 1 C-Section and Vaginal Deliveries: Must be proficient in both low and high-risk pregnancies, C-sections, breech deliveries, and complicated deliveries. Qualifications: Board Certification: Required for Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship: Preferred License: Active and unrestricted in Kentucky Certifications Required: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) No temporary privileges are available, so a KY license is essential. Experience: Must be comfortable with OB Ultrasounds, interpreting NST/CST/FSE, and performing amniocentesis, as well as routine and complicated gynecological and obstetric procedures. Skills: The provider should be capable of performing both routine and surgical gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, cryosurgery, LEEP, laparoscopy, and more. Additional Information: Travel: Nearest airport. Lodging options are available. Support: No additional staff support is required for this assignment.
