Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience and current CA license for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Work in a cardiac catheterization lab
- Primary responsibilities include scrub tech, monitoring, and circulator roles for heart catheterizations, pacemakers, STEMI calls, and balloon pumps
- Shifts are 4x10s from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 8:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Patients are primarily adult cardiac cases
- Must be able to return lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- Only 1 holiday off will be approved for requested time off
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Returning travelers must have a break of at least one year before being eligible to return
- 2 supervisor references from the past two years are required for consideration
Requirements
- Current CA Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency in Cath Lab procedures including heart caths, pacemakers, STEMI response, and balloon pump management
- License required if applicable
