Position Overview: Specialties: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (No Call) Practice Details: Practice Setting: Outpatient Patients Per Shift: Up to 38 patients per 24-hour shift Bed Capacity in Department: 12 EMR System: Epic Admissions: Required Inpatient vs. Outpatient: Outpatient only; inpatient admissions are handled by a Hospitalist No Surgery Required: Focus on usual ED procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, conscious sedation, laceration repair, central line placement, suturing, I&D, dental blocks, foreign body removal, reductions, cardio conversion, codes, stroke, STEMI, pediatrics, and adults.
