A services organization in New York City is currently seeking licensed Physician, with a FamilyMedicine background, to join their staff in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty:Primary Care
- Patient Population:Mainly adults
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (4 days clinical work and 1 day admin)
- Hours: Standard business (35 hour work week)
- Call Schedule: Minimal
Responsibilities:
The Family Medicine Physician will:
- Performhistory and physical assessments as indicated by his/her specialty area
- Provideservices in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice
- Developa plan of treatment/care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits
- Makereferrals, as indicated by the needs of the patient
- Communicatewith other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment and plan for the patient either verbally and/or through documentation in the medical record
- Maintaincurrent and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified
- Family and/or Internal Medicine background
- Experience in a FQHC, Outpatient and/or Primary Care setting
