We are seeking a Permanent Anesthesiologist in Illinois.

• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

• Setting: Silver Cross Hospital, Level II Trauma Center, 10 ORs

• Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care within an MD/CRNA team model

  • Perform general surgical anesthesia, IV regional, spinal, epidural, OB cases, neurosurgical cases

  • Nerve blocks are performed by MDs

  • Pre-ops mainly done by MDs unless it s a MAC case

• Required Procedures: General anesthesia, regional anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, OB cases, neurosurgical cases

• EMR System: Cerner

• Support Staff: 13 MDs, 20+ CRNAs

• Days Per Month: Full-time with weekend coverage

• On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call, approximately 2-3 times per month (with incentives)

• Required:

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology

  • IL License (or willing to obtain)

  • DEA Verbal Confirmation and CSR (or willing to obtain)

  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or willing to obtain)

  • COVID and Flu Vaccinations

  • US Trained and Boarded
