Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 shift schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for all shifts
• General emergency department combined adult/pediatric setting experience required
• 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - hardstop requirement
• Triage experience required - hardstop requirement
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum overall score of 80% and 100% on lethal rhythms
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI, MAB
• Charge experience preferred
• Must have worked in an ED setting with at least 45,600 visits per year (125/day) within past 8 months
• Skills required: Triage, IV starts, phlebotomy, care of ventilated patients, CPAP/BiPAP, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Float within skillset as needed
• No on-call required
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Daily census of 130 patients with 40 rooms/beds available
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• First-time travelers accepted
