This locum tenens position seeks a Board Certified or Eligible OB/GYN physician to provide obstetric and gynecologic care across multiple hospitals in Minnesota. The role includes prenatal, delivery, postnatal care, surgical procedures, and participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation with flexible shifts. The position requires adaptability to varied clinical settings and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN physician to join our locum tenens team in Minnesota. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple esteemed hospitals, providing exceptional care in obstetrics and gynecology. The role involves in-house and call coverage, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. Perform surgical procedures such as C-sections, D&Cs, laparoscopic tubals, and management of ectopic pregnancies. Adapt to various hospital settings, with shifts at Abbott Northwestern, United Hospital, Buffalo Clinic, and St Francis Regional Medical Center. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for patient documentation. Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation, with flexibility for 12-hour shifts as needed. Schedule: Shifts are sporadic and communicated monthly, requiring coverage for up to 8 shifts per month. The schedule is a mix of day and night shifts, with most coverage needed at United Hospital and St. Francis. Candidates may be required to float between locations. Qualifications: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Must hold or be willing to obtain a Minnesota medical license. A clean professional record is required, with no malpractice history. Experience in a high-acuity setting is preferred. Compensation: Competitive daily rates are offered, with specific call back and 24-hour call rates available upon inquiry. Please contact the account manager for detailed compensation information.
