The Urgent Care Physician provides acute and primary care services in a hospital-owned urgent care setting, treating both pediatric and adult patients. Responsibilities include managing 12-15 patients daily with conditions ranging from minor injuries to chronic disease screenings, supported by clinical staff and electronic medical records. The provider must be credentialed with NC Medicaid and PECOS enrolled to deliver convenient walk-in care without on-call duties.

Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.

Comfort treating both Peds and Adults
Clinical support staff available
Provider will be housed in hospital owned APTS.
Primary care services services include but are not limited to:
-routine check-ups
-physicals
-immunizations
-chronic disease screenings and management
-acute medical care
Convenient Care + Walk-In services include but are not limited to:
-fever
-upset stomach (vomiting, nausea, diarrhea)
-flu-like symptoms
-earache
-bronchitis
-upper respiratory infection
-minor lacerations and stitches
-sprains and minor fractures
-mild to moderate burns
-rashes and minor allergic reactions
-painful or burning urination
