Travel MedSurg RN in Memphis, Tennessee

4x12 day shifts in Memphis with hands-on MedSurg patient care and procedure variety. MedSurg RN role providing bedside assessments, meds, IV starts, dressings, catheter care, and physician assistance. Schedule: 4x12-hour day shifts. Location: Memphis, TN. Contract: unspecified/permanent shift-based. - Active RN license in TN - MedSurg experience (preferably 1+ year) - IV, catheter, wound care skills - Medication administration competency - Ability to assist physicians and perform bedside procedures

Responsibilities

MedSurg RNs provide bedside care for a variety of patients and execute individualized patient assessments to create an individualized plan of care. MedSurg RNs prepare equipment and assist physicians during examination and treatment of patients. MedSurg RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• MedSurg RNs prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
• Initiate alternative action when adverse symptomology is displayed
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs when necessary
