Job DescriptionThe Travel Adolescent Behavioral Health RN will be responsible for delivering care to inpatient adolescent patients aged 14-17. The role may involve floating to Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units as needed. A critical aspect of this position is to utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain a safe environment for all patients.
Responsibilities- Management of clinical activities in the assigned unit(s).
- Implementation of nursing philosophy, goals, and standards.
- Formulation and monitoring of capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
- Staffing and scheduling of personnel.
- Supervision of employees in the delivery of care.
- Planning and coordination of orientation and educational needs of the staff.
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with other disciplines.
- Promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.
- Inpatient Adolescent Psych experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- De-escalation training/certification required; attendance at SAFE Training Course onsite if needed.
