Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel assignment requiring a compact or KY RN license and strong cardiac procedure expertise.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Patient population consists of individuals undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Shifts are 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- On-call is required as part of the schedule
- Participation in emergency and on-call assignments is required
- All RNs must complete CPI training, which can be done onsite
- Candidates with 3 months or more of work history gaps must provide written explanations
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start
- First time travelers are accepted for this assignment
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac cath lab RN experience
- Current AHA certifications required, including BLS and ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
- CPI training is required and may be completed onsite
- Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19
- Candidates with any infractions ('hits') on their license will not be considered
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are eligible
