The role involves supporting patient mobility, safety, and communication in fast-paced, collaborative healthcare settings. Full-time, consistent 12-hour shifts are required, with a preference for candidates holding a Vermont LNA license and prior healthcare experience.
We are hiring Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) for our General Medicine, Cardiology, and Neurosurgery units. These fast-paced, highly collaborative teams care for patients with a wide range of medical, cardiac, and neurological needs. As an LNA, you’ll provide essential direct and indirect patient care — including daily care, mobility support, safety monitoring, and communication assistance — under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role supports patients with varying levels of complexity and requires consistency, reliability, and strong teamwork.
Schedule Requirement:
The positions we are currently recruiting for are full-time roles working 12-hour shifts. Shifts are days or nights, depending on unit needs. These positions require a consistent, ongoing schedule and are not able to accommodate rotating, short-term, or academic-based availability.
Job Description:
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for specific aspects of direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Current Vermont LNA license required.
Experience:
Previous health care experience preferred.
