The Hematology/Oncology Physician provides scheduled clinical care to a high volume of patients in both clinics and infusion centers, with additional phone consultations while on call. The position requires board certification and fellowship training in hematology/oncology, as well as appropriate medical licensing and basic life support certification. Call duties involve prompt response via beeper with minimal in-person patient visits during call shifts.
