Full Time Registered Nurse for Wound Care/Enterostomy Position in Queens, NY
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for our Wound Care/Enterostomy position in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate should have advanced experience in wound care and enterostomy, as well as a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Expertise in wound care and enterostomy
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work both independently and with a team
- Ability to work with a diverse patient population
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition and develop care plans
- Perform wound assessment and develop effective wound care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and other parameters
- Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Document patient information and care activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
