Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California with night shifts and current CA RN license required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Cares for high-risk labor and delivery patients
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Responsible for nursing care of laboring mothers, including high-risk cases
- Must provide last four digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration
- Local and travel candidates are both accepted at the same rate
- Assignment is limited to a maximum tenure per HR policy, with requirements for breaks in between extended assignments
- COVID and Flu vaccination may be required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required at time of application
- Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time Labor & Delivery experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- Preferred: Over 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years
- Preferred: At least 1 year of high-risk L&D experience within the last 2 years
- Epic EMR experience preferred
