Assistant - Orthopedic

Opportunity to join a community-focused healthcare team with supportive culture and patient-centered care. Orthopedic Assistant / Medical Assistant supporting orthopedic services. Full-time schedule at Memorial Healthcare System in Florida. Ongoing/permanent role; in-clinic/hospital setting. - Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or EMT program OR - 6 months patient care experience OR - 6 months experience as orthopedic assistant/Medical Assistant - Ability to work under stress, exercise judgment, and communicate effectively

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Can be graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program or have six (6) months of patient care experience or six (6) months experience as an orthopedic assistant, and/or Medical Assistant.
