Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ED Hold position in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department Hold unit of a hospital
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Care for patients in an ED holding environment
- Must provide required documentation including SSN (no Canadian), DOB, and complete application profile for consideration
- Crisis prevention certification alternatives such as SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA may be accepted
- Certifications must be valid and not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of recent emergency department experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CPI or approved alternative crisis prevention certification required for ER units
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
