School Aide/PCA

Work weekday school hours 1:1 with a child — $19/hr, weekly pay and benefits. PCA/School Aide, Monday–Friday 1:1 support during school day; may accompany on bus and field trips. Contract or contract-to-hire; local placement through Interim Healthcare. - CPR/First Aid certification required - Experience working with children preferred - Able to follow care plans and document patient notes - Comfortable assisting with meals, toileting, behavioral management

Overview: Monday - Friday 1:1 with student during the school day.
Compensation: $19/hourly
PCA Job Responsibilities:

• Accompany child while in school helping with care plans for the student; along with field trips and on bus to and from school, when required.
• Provide direct patient care according to the provider's prescribed plan of care, such as Behavioral management; transition between education settings, assisting with meals, toileting, and other daily needs.

PCA Requirements:

• Experience working with children, is preferred.
• Attention to detail, able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• CPR/First Aide Certification
