Job Details

• Reason for Coverage: Existing independent group leaving the hospital
• Practice Setting: Hospital house doc day shift and hospital house doc night shift (12-hour shifts)
• No practice scheduled patients
• Other OB/GYNs not onsite during locum coverage
• Labs & Ultrasound onsite
• Level I Nursery
• EMR: Epic

Required Duties & Procedures

• Low-Risk Pregnancy: History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.
• OB Ultrasounds: Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)
• Amniocentesis
• Routine Delivery: Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
• Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
• VBACs (Vaginal Birth After C-Section)
• Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
• Surgical Gynecology Open
• Operative/Major Procedures: Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs
• Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Procedures: Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: Weekdays and Weekends

Travel Reimbursement Information

• Local Providers Only: Mileage Reimbursement

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified: REQUIRED
• Active OH License: REQUIRED, please do not submit providers needing to obtain a license
• ACLS Certified: REQUIRED
• Flu Vaccine: REQUIRED at the time of credentialing
• COVID Vaccine: Preferred
• 100% Clean Background: REQUIRED
