- Monday through Friday, 8 hour days -- call 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
- Average 1 surgery per day
- Hospital-based practice focused on pediatric cardiothoracic surgery
- Patient mix: 95% pediatric, 4% neonate, 1% adult
- Performs complex cardiac procedures including valve repair and coronary bypass
- No ER call required
- Handles congenital defects and chest wall procedures
- 100% inpatient practice setting
