ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Cambridge, MA 02138 (Boston metro area)
• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: February 28, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Average Hours per Week: 36
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts or compact state eligible
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or IMCU experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – American Heart Association
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to float between ICU and IMCU units
• Availability for the full travel nursing assignment; no holiday or other time off approved

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate critical care to ICU and IMCU patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced clinical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized patient care plans
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR
• Float between ICU and IMCU units as needed to support patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
