The SC Program Coordinator (RN) functions in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or nurse practitioner(s) and/or other licensed clinical personnel in the outpatient clinic setting. For the assigned patient population(s), coordinates all scheduling of ordered tests and clinic visits. Skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established policies and procedures. Care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the specialty clinic.
Education:
Requires an associate degree in nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Three years of clinical experience preferred .
Experience working with children/youth with complex medical conditions preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
Effective interpersonal communication
Adept at working in a dynamic team environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated initiative
Ability to plan and organize effectively
Certification/Licensure:
Current license to practice nursing in the state of Texas.
BLS required.
**Schedule Information: Monday-Friday. 8-430, with 1-2 days remote**
